Cambodia coming to Canada:
It’s just four more days (2 June) until the touring exhibition, Angkor: The Lost Empire of Cambodia, will open in all its glory at the Royal British Columbia Museum in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. It will enjoy an extended run until 14 January 2024, before it’s expected to continue its worldwide journey to Australia, New Zealand UK and Europe. To promote Cambodia’s rich history to global audiences unfamiliar with its beauty, the 120 spectacular Khmer works of art and a variety of interactive displays will be accompanied by the 3D IMAX documentary film of the same name. The Royal BC Museum began life in 1886, is one of Canada’s greatest cultural treasures, and is the next stop on the four-year touring exhibition after spending the last six months at the Natural History Museum of Utah in Salt Lake City, USA.
