Khmer Art Overseas: As a reminder of the Khmer artifacts that have passed through the gallery of Marcel Nies Oriental Art in Antwerp, Belgium, here are fifteen examples from their catalogues and exhibitions, since the company began life in 1972, supplying museums and private collectors with a range of Asian art. They were implicated by association with Douglas Latchford, the disgraced dealer, after a number of items owned by Latchford’s offshore trust company, Skanda Trust, passed through their hands. The usual caveat applies as to whether these artifacts are authentic or modern reproductions.
